Evangelism Groups

Dear reader,

We encourage each Coptic Orthodox Church to start a new ‘Evangelism Group’ that works to make evangelism in each church a reality. Each group has many challenges in each church, and each group needs to address the challenges and work hard to overcome all. It is a self-examined group to face what sometimes we don’t like to face and use a wise approach to reach results.

Under ‘Evangelism Groups,’ we will post news, ideas, minutes, activities, successes, and failures of these groups. The reason for that is very simple, we need to learn and to grow.

We will start with St. George Coptic Orthodox Church in Tampa, Florida, and we encourage others to send their minutes and activities.

Evangelism is a must and necessity. It is the fulfilling of the great mission our Lord Jesus Christ entrusted the church with, as it mentioned in Matthew 28:19,20:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing

them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy

Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you: and I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
