Course Description:
A study of behavioral and psychological deviation from the norm. Special attention to psychotic disorders, childhood disorders, impulse control disorders and suicide.
Overview of treatment modalities

Course Objectives:
At the conclusion of the course the student will be able to:
1.EvaluateThe different psychotic disorders including schizophrenia and other     delusional disorders ,the different childhood disorders including attention deficit hyperactivity, pervasive developmental disorders and disruptive behavioral disorders, different impulse control disorders and suicidal disorder.
2. Be familiar with the different treatment modalities

Course requirement
1.   Attend all on-site lectures.
2.   Have access to the internet and basic typing skills.
3.   There will be mid-Term and a final exam.
4.   Passing grade is 70%. Delay in turning in the exams may reduce the score by 25%.

 

On-Site Lesson Schedule: 

1.   Prior to arrival student will go over diagnostic criteria for psychotic disorders, impulse central disorder, and childhood disorders using DSM-IV_TR Qick Reference.
2.   On site instructor will give an overview of psychotic disorders, childhood disorders, impulse control disorders and suicide

Course Requirements:
1. Attending the course’s lectures in the announced conference.
2. Having daily access to the Internet and basic typing skills.
