Dr. El-Shamma
is a private practice Psychiatrist for 25 years, currently
practicing in Olney MD. She is board certified by the
American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. She graduated from
Cairo University Medical School and did psychiatry residency
at Kasr El-Aini Hospital. She also received a diploma in
Chemical Pathology. And was a member of the staff at Cairo
University Medical School as an instructor of Pathology for
2 years. After traveling to the US she entered a pathology
residency at Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia. She chose
to then complete both a child psychiatry and adult
psychiatry residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in
Philadelphia, PA. She served as the Clinical Director of the
Adult Day Treatment Center at Prince Georges County
Hospital. She also served our country as a Major in the
United States Air Force for 3 years. |
