Stuck in a predicament and you don't know where to turn? Who are you going to call? . . . . . . . .The Book of Psalms!

  • There are plenty of times when we feel like our whole world is in total chaos. All we have to do is keep in mind that God is always there for us and that we shouldn't be afraid. Psalm 46 reminds us of the purpose of God in our life. It helps us rejoice in the deliverance that the Lord gives His people in the midst of a fearsome time.

  • Aggravation within the family is not unusual. A great passage for a way to deal with all the tension in the family is the 127th and 128th psalm. If you focus on your struggle towards perfection and fear the Lord, God will bless you and your family. Then it will be easier to handle any problem that arises within the family.

  • The feeling of the desertion of God is a RED ALERT!! God is always you no matter what. If you have the slightest intimation of that type of felling, read Psalm 139. God would never leave you; He knows you too well. He is active to search and test His servants. He knows our motives, desires, and words, before they are expressed.

  • Throughout life, you might wonder what the Lord Jesus Christ expects from us. The only one is who actually worthy of standing before God is the Lord Jesus Christ. But there have always been those who stand before God as forgiven sinners, whose righteousness comes as a gift from God. Psalm 15 is mainly dedicated to teaching us how to abide in God's Holy Tabernacle. We can accomplish this by walking upright, going good deeds, and speaking the truth.

  • Our whole lives are journeys to get to know God. Through pain and suffering, we struggle for perfection and righteousness, but it takes patience when getting to know God. Psalm 42 gives encouragement to have faith and hope in God. It's a description of a person longing for the presence of God.

  • When in need of counseling and guidance for any problem, read the instruction packet that our Manufacturer made for us to help us step by step with our everyday troubles and worries. He provided this manual that tells us exactly what to do so how could we say we didn't know what to do? Specifically, Psalm 119 is an excellent chapter on wisdom for us. We have all the answers to our questions in the Holy Bible. All you have to do is pick it up and read it.
