I really do not feel comfortable when I talk to the priest in the States but sometimes I have to go to him not just to confess, but because I need someone trustworthy to talk to.Also sometimes I feel sad for no specific reason to the point of crying. Why is it so?

I want you to ask yourself: Do you have a confessional father? Did you have one in Egypt, before coming to the States? If so, how is the priest in the States different from your priest in Egypt? You have to trust that whatever you say to the priest in confession is strictly confidential and he will never share it with anyone. Once you develop that trust, you will find it easy to talk to Abouna, get closer to him and ask him for advice. I am sure once you build that trust; you will feel a great relief talking to Abouna who can give you the right advice and help you grow spiritually.
