Why do Protestants reject the Septuagint books?

The religious Jewish leaders decided after the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem that the official canon of the Septuagint excludes the Holy Books known as the Deuterocanonical Books. However, the Early Church—Orthodox and Catholic Churches, maintained the Septuagint inclusive of the Deuterocanonical Books. Following the division of the Catholic and Protestant Churches in the 16th century, Protestants declared the official canon of the Holy Scripture exclusive of the Deuterocanonical Books. Some reasons for the exclusion of these Holy Books are ascribed to doctrinal differences that do not support the Protestant perspective.
