The cycle of life is a process that we all travel through. How one travels through these different stages varies from person to person. Yet we should always be joyful for whatever may come onto our path. How can we do this? Where do we get the strength during these cycles?
David, the psalmist, tells us, "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices" (Psalm 28:7).
Throughout the stages of life, there is commonality within certain age groups. Each group needs to be served to their specific needs encountered in life. The Coptic Orthodox Diocese of the Southern United States acknowledges this concept and would like to introduce the Coptic Professional Adults Retreat. The goal of these retreats will be on serving and building the spiritual life of the single youth at age 30 and above as they journey through the cycle of life.
"Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, before the difficult days come, and the years draw near..." (Ecclesiastes 12:1).
Through the grace of God, this year the retreat will be about 'Walking on Water'. So come and join us in fellowship to hear and grow in His name.
