Program — Degrees Offered
Bachelor of Divinity: This program is open
for all candidates who have completed at least a high school
degree. It requires completion of all courses listed in this
program.
Master of Divinity: This program is open for all candidates who have received a bachelor of Theology degree from an accredited Coptic seminary school. Students must complete two language courses (Greek and Hebrew), pass a comprehensive exam that consists of two parts (written and oral), write a research proposal that is approved by an advisory committee, write a research thesis and pass a final defense exam. The language courses could be completed at any accredited local college of the student's choice.
Audit certificate: Open for all candidates
who have completed at least a high school degree and actively
attend any part of the program, and participate in the discussions,
but do not have the time to complete the courses requirements.
The certificate will indicate which part (courses) of the program
that was attended. It will also indicate if the students completed
all requirements of the course (paper submission and/or exam)
and passed the course in case the students wish to be considered
for the Bachelor of Divinity program. |
