I Need To Live With God.
One
day she came very happy to the class. I said, ‘you look happy.’
She
said, 'I am always happy.'
Then
I asked, 'What is the secret behind
your happiness,'
She
answered, 'because I am healthy.'
I
stopped for few moments to ask for God guidance, and then I said, 'I know
that people who live with God they are happy people.' A minute passed in silence, and then she
said, 'I need to live with God. I
really do. But I have my friends and we go to nightclubs and do bad things
there. But I really like to go back to
God.'
I
said, ‘God, as a caring father loves us’
She
was silent for a moment, and then said, “I need help.”
I
referred her to read the Epistle to the Romans.
We
met again, and I did not say a word, but I noticed that she is not the same
student that I knew; something has started to work inside her, like a
fire. I can sense the spiritual
struggle she goes through. A few times
we talked, and I gave a short advice, as much as she can take.
The
semester was about to be over. I
gave her my email and said, ‘if you need any help, please don’t hesitate to
email me.’
I
just did one thing in her life. This
was my call at this time. God will take
it from there. He may send someone else
or a book or an article or a song or he may send her again to me at His own
time. For everything under heaven a
time, and God will use you for a specific task, small or big, either by
using an act of mercy or by giving an invitation to a meeting or by talking
about Him.
