Arrival of Three New Books

COLLEYVILLE, TX. December 23, 2010 -- The Diocese is happy to announce, through the grace of God, the arrival of three new books which can be ordered through the Diocese bookstore.

Service of the Deacons

It gives us great pleasure to announce the official publication and arrival of the first edition of the Service of the Deacons. This 720 page publication is comprised of several books, including the complete euchologion (liturgies of Saints Basil, Gregory, and Cyril), detailed book of rites, book of veneration services, and the most comprehensive Deacons service book ever translated into the English language. The Service of the Deacons is intended to be used as a comprehensive resource for Coptic deacons, clergy, and laity.

An exhaustive review of the book was undertaken personally by H.G. Bishop Youssef to ensure the accuracy of rites, translation, content, and organization.
