Fr. Mina Iskander is in the Paradise of Joy

COLLEYVILLE, TX. November 2, 2010 -- It is with great sorrow that we announce the departure of our beloved father, Rev. Fr. Mina Iskander. On August 27, 2000, H.H. Pope Shenouda ordained Fr. Mina Iskander as priest for the St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church located in Nashville. Then in 2003, H.G. Bishop Youssef asked him to serve in St. Pishoy Coptic Orthodox Church. Fr. Mina has been serving within the Diocese of the Southern United States for the past 10 years.

May the Lord repose his blessed soul in the paradise of joy and offer comfort to his family and congregation.

St. Pishoy Coptic Orthodox Church
Vespers: 8 pm
Midnight Praises: all night long till 7:00 am

Friday, November 5, 2010
St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church
Divine Liturgy: 7:30 am- 10:30 am
Funeral Prayers: 10:30 am - 12 pm

Per the family's request, there will be no visitations at the family's home nor any condolences offered at the church.
