The Sunday Readings During Koiahk

December 1, 2012

COLLEYVILLE, TX. December 1, 2012 -- This year January 6, 2013 falls on a Sunday. Thus instead of the readings of Koiahk on Sunday, January 6, 2013, it will be the readings of the Nativity Paramoun. Thus the readings for Koiahk will be shifted by one week meaning that the first Sunday of Koihak will begin on Sunday, December 9, 2012 (Hathor 30). Below is a schedule of the four Sundays of Koiahk:

  • First Sunday of Koiahk
    December 9, 2012 / Hathor 30, 1729
  • Second Sunday of Koiahk
    December 16, 2012 / Koiahk 7, 1729
  • Third Sunday of Koiahk
    December 23, 2012 / Koiahk 14, 1729
  • Fourth Sunday of Koiahk
    December 30, 2012 / Koiahk 21, 1729

God willing, the Nativity Paramoun will be three days:

  • Friday, January 4,2013 / Koiahk 26, 1729
  • Saturday, January 5, 2013 / Koiahk 27, 1729
  • Sunday, January 6, 2013 / Koiahk 28, 1729

May the blessings of the Nativity Fast, the Koiahk season and the Glorious Feast of the Nativity be upon us all.
