Will the people who die now be judged at the second coming? If their destiny has already been determined in either Paradise or Hades, what is the need for a judgment?

At a person's death, a fight or war takes place between  angels and  devils over his soul which will eventually be taken to either Paradise, or Hades. That is why we pray in the third section of the eleventh hour prayer, addressing St. Mary, "And be my attendant at my soul's departure from my body. Overthrow the conspiracies of the enemies; shut fast the gates of Hades lest they devour my soul, O blameless bride of the true Bridegroom." Although a person knows his deeds, and where he's going; on judgment day he will be given a chance to stand before God to defend himself. This shows that God is just.
