Was our Lord Jesus Christ always the Son of God, or did He become the Son of God and the Son of Man after His incarnation? In the creed, we say that Jesus has been the Son of God from before all ages. So Jesus is the Son of God from before the ages.

Almighty God is revealed in the Holy Trinity. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Word of God. He took flesh and incarnated for our salvation, yet His existence is eternal because God is eternal. Jesus Christ, the Word of God, the Son of God, in one essence and equal to the Father and to the Holy Spirit is from before the ages. The incarnation of Christ took place when the Ever-Virgin St. Mary accepted the annunciation from the Archangel Gabriel.
