Are there any reasons given in the Holy Bible (or anywhere else) as to why we do not mention women names in biblical genealogy?

The genealogies in the Holy Bible are written according to the Jewish traditions. The Jewish genealogies have two forms, one giving the generations in a descending (Ruth 4:18-22, or 1 Chr. 3) the other in an ascending scale (1 Chr. 6:33-43, Ezra 7:1-5). Females are named in genealogies only when there is anything remarkable about them, or when any right or property is transmitted through them (see Gen 11:29; 22:23; 25:1-4; 35:22-26; Exo. 6:23; Num 26:33; 1 Chr 2:4,19,35,50, Mt 1:1-16 etc.)
