"And the Word, became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth" and "And of His fullness we have received, and grace for grace" (John 1:1). Does the Father grant us all of the truth when we abide in the Truth? Or is this a process that continues throughout eternity?

God's Truth enlightens us and God’s Grace empowers us. God's truth enlightens us to see ourselves and our world in a new light. Our Lord is teaching the way to the kingdom of God with all simplicity, plainness, dignity and energy of truth. He declares the truth. In Him was no falsehood. He was not like the false prophets who were wholly impostors, but was truth itself. He represented things as they are, and thus He is the "truth" as well as "the way and the life."

Our Lord Jesus Christ granted us the whole truth but we will not comprehend it and abide in it if we do not have the Holy Spirit to guide us and lead us to understand and have the full knowledge of the Lord. "However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come" (John 16:13). St. Paul prayed for the Ephesians "that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him" (Eph 1:17).
