Letter

Dear Brethren,
The love and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all of you.
In this society, the trend to return to religion is gaining ground. Thus
people begin to question the different denominations in existence. This is
a prime time for us to speak about our faith to our friends, our neighbors,
and those who ask "why orthodoxy?" Unfortunately sometimes we do not have
the deep knowledge or understanding of the Coptic Church so that we may
speak steadfastly about our faith. Thus everyone is encouraged to attend
the Third Annual Evangelism Conference in Dallas, Texas on August 31st -
September 3rd, 2001, which is Labor Day weekend, under the auspices of H.G.
Bishop Youssef.

The theme of the conference is "Why Orthodoxy?"

The guest speakers will be:

+ Fr. Gordon Walker, Pastor Emeritus St. Ignatius Orthodox Church
+ Mission and Evangelism Antiochian Church
