Am I correct in seeing that there is a lot of similarity between the Holy Book of Revelation and that of Daniel?

Both Daniel the prophet and St. John prophesied about the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The white appearance is parallel to the description of the "Ancient of Days" in Daniel 7:9 and of Christ on the Mount of Transfiguration (Mt 17:2). Both demonstrate the purity and eternality of both God the Father and God the Son. Christ's eyes like...fire indicate His righteousness, as well as His judgment of everything impure (Dan 10:6; 1 Cor 3:13).
