I have non-Christian friends who are great people and have amazing qualities. Will they go to hell because they don't believe in God?

If a Christian looks forward to an eternal life with Christ, with whom does the non-Christian long to have an eternal life? There is a place prepared for the believers and a place for the unbelievers. In St. Luke, Chapter 12, we learn from a parable that the "evil servant" will be appointed his portion with the unbelievers.

St. Paul also cautions, "Do not be equally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God..." (2 Corinthians 6:14-18). Pray that their admirable qualities will soon include faith in God.
