What is the Church's view on assisted dying? At what stage in a suffering human's life does the church consider a person to be dead and thus biblically appropriate to administer Euthanasia?

The Holy Scripture leads us to believe in a natural death at a time determined only by God. Euthanasia or assisted dying is not acceptable. In such circumstances, assistance is provided to expedite an individual's death, even if the individual is still in a state of functioning. In cases where an individual is in a permanent vegetative state, 'do not resuscitate' orders can be given.
