Why does it say, "What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia."

  1. At that time there were only seven churches or what does it mean?

  2. How many churches were in the whole world?

  3. Why specifically in Asia? How about the other places?

  4. Also, it says, "His feet were like fine brass." What does that represent?

St. John the Beloved was the bishop (or archbishop) of these seven churches. The angels of the churches are the priests or maybe other bishops overseeing these seven churches. There were many churches that were established by St. Paul and the other apostles in various other regions.

His feet resembled fine brass symbolized strength and power as brass is even stronger than gold.
