When was our beloved God thankful?

Eucharist means "thanksgiving." The Lord Jesus Christ is the Holy Eucharist. He taught us to pray with thankfulness for everything and in every condition. Before He offered the Holy Eucharist to His disciples, He gave thanks (Luke 22:19-20). Christ, Himself, offered thanks on other occasions, such as when He was about to raise Lazarus from the dead (John 11:41) and when He was about to feed the multitude (Matthew 14:19) and when the disciples revealed to Him that the spirits were subjected to them through Him but He wanted them to rejoice in something greater (Matthew 11:25; Luke 10:21). Christianity is a life of joy and gratitude for God's generous mercies (Psalm 118).
