Is skipping class wrong if your teacher does not even care?

You should be the one who cares. Your teacher will still receive his/her salary regardless of whether you learn or not. You need to be self-disciplined and self-motivated and not steered by who is looking or who cares. Skipping class is negligent of the talents and opportunities God has given you. You need to care about your education and your future. You must be thankful to God for all that He has kindly put into your hands. Even if you know the material taught in class, then set a good example for the others. Show interest. Offer to help others that may be struggling. Learn this from the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30) that Christ taught us:

"His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord’" (Matthew 25:23).
