I am a Coptic Orthodox Christian from the Eritrean Orthodox Church. Bad and awful thoughts are crossing my mind each time I want to worship God deeper and this gives me a feeling of guilt and suffering. The more I try not to think, the harder it gets. I feel like I have OCD related problems, as I searched online and found many similarities with my situation. I do not think my father of confession and my church community are aware of that kind of stuff. I have been facing this problem for four years since the day I started to attend church. Now, I am facing it more often as I want to worship God on a deeper level and it is bothering me more lately.

Priests need to serve your spiritual needs. Just as one would not have a priest treat his medical illness, one should consider the same approach for mental health and seek a professional counselor to deal with OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and other psychological issues.
