Did Ruth go to Boaz’s field intentionally, was she sent by Naomi, or was it God’s work in order to bring her together with Boaz? (Ruth 2:1-3) Should I follow Ruth’s example, submit my life in obedience to God and wait upon Him to send me my life partner at the right time?

Ruth depended on Providence; for she said "Please let me go to the field, and glean heads of grain after him in whose sight I may find favor" (Ruth 2:2). She did not know which way to go or whose field she would glean. She had no reason for choosing that field over any other. We should learn from Ruth to rely on God. Pray and have faith that God will provide for you the right person at the right time.
