Is it a true statement that God terminates our lives on earth when we are ready the most?

God has commanded us to "Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is" (Mark 13:33).  As we recite  "Christ our God, the good, the long suffering, the abundant in mercy and the great in compassion who love the righteous and has mercy on the sinners of whom I am chief; who does not wish the death of the sinner but rather that he returns and lives..." (The conclusion of every hour of the Agpeya); we know that God loves us and always wants the best for us. However, it is still our choice to live righteously at all times. We cannot say that God always takes a person at his best time. Because, how can we then explain the fact that some people did die in their sins without having repented; although they had been righteous before falling into sin. We have to have faith that as long as we are seeking first the Kingdom of God, and living our life according to His will, we are in the hands of our Lord Who always wants the best for us.
