Could you please settle a controversy around Dinah; whether she was wrong in not crying out, and in having been in the city with the nonbelievers. Also, it seems that she was violated (Gen 34:2), which makes her therefore innocent in this case.

Dinah went out to see the daughters of the land. This land was dwelt by the Hivites one of the seven nations of Canaan who were idol worshippers who did not know the true God. Dinah went to see the daughters of land. Josephus. The historian says that she went to attend one of their festivals. She went to see how they dressed, how they danced and what was fashionable among them. It is true that Dinah was violated but it was she who took the first step and went where she was not supposed to have gone. As a child of God, to allow herself to be surrounded with ungodly people, was not correct; and therefore, she had paid the price of her carelessness. God's children should be careful who they associate with. David the prophet said, "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful" (Ps 1:1). We should therefore carefully avoid all occasions of sin and approaches to it.
