I'm a Sunday school teacher, and I have to teach a youth group about the consequences of sin. Could you please help me?

The main consequence of sin is separation from God. Those who walk away from God are described by the Holy Bible as:
"Darkened in understanding" and therefore blind to spiritual truths (Ephesians 4:18; 1 Corinthians 2:14);

"Dead in transgressions and sins" and therefore without the life of God in our souls (Ephesians 2:1,5).

"Enslaved" to the sinful nature (Titus 3:3; John 8:34), with hearts that are so twisted with self-centeredness that out of them come "evil thoughts, vulgar deeds, stealing, murder, unfaithfulness in marriage, greed, meanness, deceit, indecency, envy, insults, pride and foolishness. All of these come from the heart, and they are what make one unfit to worship God" (Mark 7:21,22).

One walking away from God is also described as "without hope" (Ephesians 2:12) and "without excuse" (Romans 1:20).
We can summarize the consequences of sin as follows:
Barrier between God and man —  “But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear” (Is 59:2).

Man becomes a slave to sin — “Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?” (Rom 6:16);“For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do” (Rom 7:15).

Death — “For the wages of sin is death” (Rom 6:23); "The soul who sins shall die" (Ezek 18:20)

Ruins relationships —“Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members?  You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask” (James 4:1-2).

Society becomes depraved; dishonoring to God — “For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, And He ponders all his paths. His own iniquities entrap the wicked man, And he is caught in the cords of his sin” (Prov 5:21-22).

Guilt — “Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God” (Rom 3:19).

Eternal Separation from God/loved ones in Hell — “And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire” (Rev 20:15).
