How did humans come to exist?

The Holy Bible tells us that God created man. God took dust from the ground and formed man and he breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living being (Gen 2:7). The Holy Bible also says that God caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep and while he was sleeping God took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh in its place and God formed a woman from the rib He took from Adam and He brought her to the man (Gen 2:21-22).
