What is the church's official stance on the Shroud of Turin? Do we believe it is the actual linen Jesus' body was wrapped in?

Although our Church does not have a published opinion regarding the authenticity of the shroud of Turin, Rev. Fr. Gawargeous Kolta who worked in the scientific field for about thirty years before his ordination has done an extensive research concerning this shroud. He looked into the research done by the Italian  and the American teams and came to the conclusion that the shroud of Turin is authentic. Fr. Kolta translated the book by Ian Wilson "The Shroud of Turin" into Arabic.
