In Mighty Arrows Magazine, on page 18, it says that the soul is black, but her Savior is white. I don't understand how that could be always true.

The article says, "Before meeting Him, she (the soul) was able to justify herself, but as she compared herself to Him, she confessed, "I am black'" Who can compare himself to the Lord and not see that he is black. No one can do so for no one is without sin even if his or her life is one day long.. The baby, who is just baptized, is without sin but for how long! The saints, although they are righteous people we cannot say that they are without sin. "For there is not a just man on earth who does good and does not sin" (Eccles 7:20). Sin makes us black when compared to the purity and the light of our Lord.
