According to the Holy Book of Acts,a few days after his baptism Paul immediately preached in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God."
Immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he received his sight at once; and he arose and was baptized. So when he had received food, he was strengthened. Then Saul spent some days with the disciples at Damascus. Immediately he preached the Christ in the synagogues, that He is the Son of God
" (Acts 9:18-20). However, in the Holy Book of Galatians we read "
But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood, nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia, and returned again to Damascus. Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and remained with him fifteen days
" (Galatians 1:15-18). Could Your Grace explain if the word "immediately" in both situations does or does not bring about contradiction.
Although St. Paul was available at the time our Lord had chosen the disciples and apostles, why was he not chosen as well? Why did the Lord Jesus Christ call him after He had already ascended?
Could Your Grace elaborate on St. Paul's words in the Holy Book of 1 Cor 11:1 (NKJV) "
Imitate me, just as I also [imitate] Christ
I have a question concerning St. Paul's conversion. In the Holy Book of Acts 9:7 it says that the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice but seeing no one. In the Holy Book of Acts 22:9 it says, "
and those who were with me indeed saw the light and were afraid, but they did not hear the voice of Him who spoke to me
." Why is there a difference in St. Luke's description versus St. Paul's?
I heard some people differentiate between the words of St. Paul and the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, what do you think about this?
I think that St. Paul used scare tactics to convert the Gentiles, threatening them that the Lord Jesus Christ was coming very soon and probably within their lifetime. Do you have any comment about this?
In the Holy Book of Acts 27:23-25, I would like to know if Paul was brought before Caesar according to what the angel had said "you must be brought before Caesar"? If not, what is the explanation for this?
What is the explanation for St. Paul who received all the teachings of Christianity, like Baptism, Communion, Confession, and more, if he did not meet the disciples until 3 years later from the appearance of GOD to him?
When was St. Paul caught up to the third heaven? Was this at the beginning of his service or after the appearance of the Lord to him?
