I. Dogma, Rituals and History
The competition in Dogma, Rituals and History is aimed to test the participant's general knowledge of the Coptic Orthodox church; the knowledge that has been seeded by the church through teachings, sermons, sunday school, conventions, etc. The competition will be presented in three levels:
+ 12 years and under
+ 13 to 18
+ above 18

Dogma (i.e sacraments, the Trinity, St. Mary's position in the church, comparative theology, etc.)

Rituals (i.e of the Liturgy, fasts, feasts, agpeia prayers, etc.)

History -- of the first four centuries (i.e ecumenical councils, popes of remarkable history, saints and martyrs) as well as history of major schisms

Rules

Any number of participants (from the entire congregation) can participate for the church in any of the three levels |
 |
At least two participants for each level are required to represent the church. The average of the highest 2 will be considered the church score. |
 |
If only one participant is presented from the church, he will represent himself (not his church). |
 |
Each participant will receive a gift for his/her participation. |
 |
The three highest scores will be awarded. |
 |
No Materials are allowed during this competition (books, written handouts, etc.). |
 |
The test will contain 20 questions (each question will be scored out of ten) and of different formats (MCQ, connect, complete, true or false, etc.). The questions will range from basic (most of the questions) to advanced (2-3 questions). |
 |
The time for the test is 60 minutes. |
II. The Book of Acts
The competition in the book of Acts will also be on the same three levels.
Rules

Any number of participants (from the entire congregation) can participate for the church in any of the three levels. |

At least two participants for each level are required to represent the church. The average of the highest two will be considered the church score. |

If only one participant is presented from the church, he will represent himself (not his church). |

Each participant will receive a gift for his participation. |

The three highest scores will be awarded. |

ONLY the BIBLE can be used in this test (no other materials may be used other than the Bible). |
 |
The test will contain 25 questions (each question will be scored out of ten) and of different formats (MCQ, connect, complete, true or false, etc.). The questions will range from basic (most of the questions) to advanced (5-6 questions). |
 |
The time for the test is 90 minutes |
