Fr. Luka Wassif
Departed: October 30, 2021
Graciously, O Lord, repose all their souls in the bosom of
our holy fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

H.G. Bishop Youannes ordained Fr. Luka Wassif as a priest on November 27, 1981. He began his service in St. Paul Coptic Orthodox Church located in Tanta, Egypt. Then in 1993, he continued his service in St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church in Roswell, GA. On December 10, 2000, H.G. Bishop Youssef ordained Fr. Luka hegumen. Fr. Luka also served some of the smaller communities su as Chattanooga, TN and Tallahassee, FL. Fr. Luka had served within the Diocese of the Southern United States for 28 years.
May the Lord repose his blessed soul in the paradise of joy.
