Auxiliary Bishops

In 2018, the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of the Southern United States was blessed with auxiliary bishops. An auxiliary bishop is a bishop assigned to assist the diocesan bishop in meeting the pastoral and administrative needs of the diocese.

"And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, 'Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.'"
