Suffering makes life hard to handle
Through my tears and my fears my hope demolishes
When it gets to be unbearable for me
I find no other way then to look at your cross
Surviving through feeling your pain
Suffering is not something far from you
You suffered since the day You were born
You never once complained
Through Your pain You made everyone happy
The blind, the lame, and leprous rejoiced
You carried the world all alone
When You had sorrow no one heard You
Beaten, wounded and hated by all
I see thorns pressing and tearing your skin
I see nails hammered through Your hands and feet
I see a spear shooting deep
I see great suffering in the heart
How much agony You can bear
But You never give up hope
For
God is always there for you
Carrying you all the way through
So
I should never give in or despair
For
You will never let go of my hand
Out of the blue someone will come through
To make my heart full of ease
And my soul will rejoice and be pleased
Thank you Lord
