Towards Canaan's Land
Graduates

For the last three years, we have been journeying Towards Canaan’s Land, and this year is no exception.  In our first year, we prepared to climb mountains, knowing that on our journey, people may not believe us or listen to our voices.  See Exodus 4:1.  In our second year, we obediently went through the vast deserts, learning to serve the Lord our God and obey His voice no matter the circumstance. See Joshua 24:24.  In our third year, we crossed the Jordan into the River Valley, committing to serve the Lord our God all of our days.  See Joshua 24:31.

In our final journey Towards Canaan’s Land, we will finally see “Glimpses of the Rainbow over the Land of Milk and Honey,” and hear God asking us to obey His voice and do all that He commands, so that we may be His people, and He will be our God, establishing the oath He swore to our fathers, to give them “a land flowing with milk and honey.”  It is only through fervency, growth in knowledge, faithfulness and dedication, and evangelism that we may join together and say, “so be it, Lord.”  See Jeremiah 11:4-5.

All Graduates and Young Professionals are encouraged to attend the Southern United States Coptic Orthodox "Towards Canaan's Land" Graduate Convention on January 15-18, 2010. Come hear the lectures of His Grace Bishop Youssef, His Grace Bishop Angaelos, and Fr. Gregory Bishay, receiving the blessings of their wisdom and enjoying a vast array of new beginnings. Join us in our final journey where we ill finally see "GLIMPSES OF THE RAINBOW OVER THE LAND OF MILK AND HONEY"...In Canaan's Land.

So shall you be My people, and I will be your God, that I may establish the oath which I have sworn to your fathers, to give them 'a land flowing with milk and honey,' as it is this day.'"
