St. Mary Coptic Orthodox church of Peoria Arizona started as a mission to serve the Coptic Orthodox community of the West valley of Phoenix with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Youssef. A great blessing from God was bestowed upon St. Mary's church in June of 2009 with the purchase of our new church. We pray that the Lord continues to bless our church and service.
Our priest
Fr. Philemon Hanna is the priest for St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church. On June 26, 2005, H.G. Bishop Youssef, with the presence of H.G. Bishop Surial and H.G. Bishop David, ordained him priest. Fr. Philemon has been serving within the Diocese of the Southern United States since June 26, 2005. We pray that the Lord will continue blessing his service.
